7 TIPS TO SUCCESSFUL WEIGHT LOSS





      
      1.  DRINK PLENTY OF WATER                                                                                                          
Every body requires about 2/3 of your body weight in water. By drinking water before each meal it will help to make you feel fuller faster while hydrating your body.  Drinking enough water every day will help speed up your metabolic rate and discourage over eating.

      2. EAT HEALTHY
The best diet plan is to eat foods that you get from as  close to the source as possible.  If it comes from a box it isn’t healthy.  Stick to fruits and  vegetables  along with whole grains and nuts for your nutritional needs.  The best way to be able to stick to this type of eating plan is to eat the foods you  love always in moderation.  For example: Eat healthy foods 6 days a week and the 7th day enjoy your “favorite” foods in moderation.  Limiting your portion size on the day you choose to eat your favorite foods will help you to keep your weight loss goals. 

     3.  MOVE, MOVE, MOVE
Physical activity is very important to a healthy life style.  Being physically active will help boost your metabolism and also helps to reduce your stress.  Finding an activity you enjoy is the best way to stay active daily.  
Examples of some of these activities are: 
  • Yoga
  • Spin Class
  • Kickboxing
  • Jazzercise
  • Walking
  • Hiking
  • Biking 
  • Any sport such as softball, volleyball, basketball, football
What ever physical activity you choose make sure its one you enjoy and can stick with or mix it up for some variety. 

     4.  KEEP A JOURNAL
Writing in a journal helps you keep track of your weight loss goals and your daily progress.  You can use it to set goals, keep track of your meal plans, and even keep track of your emotions during your weight loss journey. 

     5.  SUPPORT
Finding someone to help encourage you and support you is very valuable.  Family or a friends who share your same goals can even been more beneficial to you because you both will be going through the same experiences at the same time.  This can help to keep your motivated and on track to your weight loss goals. 

     6.  TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Take a before picture and a picture of each stage or goal you accomplish.  This way you are able to look back at where you were when you started and where you are now in your weight loss goals.  When you see how far you have come it will motivate you to push yourself to keep going until you reach your ultimate weight loss goal. 

     7.  STAY POSITIVE
Being positive and having positive people to surround you will help you stay on your path to achieving all of your weight loss goals.  You have to enjoy the ride or you will want to get off and quit before you reach the end!
